Malidoma Somé, Ph.D. is an author, diviner, and world-renowned spiritual teacher. An elder from the Dagara people of Burkina Faso, West Africa, Malidoma has worked for many years to bring the indigenous wisdom of his people to the modern Western World. 

A longtime friend and elder to the West Coast Village in the Bay Area, Malidoma visits Oakland, CA every year to offer teachings, workshops, and divinations.
